And because Joe wants to protect his son, he covers up all of Love’s murders, making him an accomplice.Īlthough Joe vowed that he’d stop killing people, he would eventually start up again because it’s in his nature. On the other hand, Love couldn’t seem to stop her murderous tendencies and killed anyone who showed interest in Joe or just anyone she thought was causing harm to her family. Joe killed multiple people in seasons 1 and 2 but made it his mission to stop for the sake of Henry in season 3. You’s Joe and Love are two murderous psychopaths So without further ado, we present the Besties Award for Most Toxic Couple to You’s Joe and Love, and here’s why we think they’re deserving of this award.

The odd pairing tries their hardest to make their relationship work, but their problems all come to a head in the explosive season 3 finale. Nope! Think again! Joe met his match in Love, and we’re not talking about a match made in heaven.
#YOU NETFLIX LOVE SERIAL#
We find out that Joe is a serial killer but still root for him and hope that he finds love (no pun intended). Then, here comes Love ( Victoria Pedretti) in season 2, and we think that just maybe Joe has found his person and will change his ways. He’s charming yet dangerous, and for some odd reason, many fans (myself included) just can’t stop fawning over him. We’re introduced to Joe ( Penn Badgley) in the first season of You, and we’re immediately fascinated by the multidimensional character. Individually, Joe and Love are complicated people, but the two as a pairing is just wrong on so many levels. It doesn’t get any more toxic than this pairing. The category that’s up next is Most Toxic Couple, and you know we had to give it to Joe and Love from You. Now that we’ve settled in good in 2022, it’s time to look back at the best and worst moments from Netflix in the past year. There were so many shows and movies released in 2021, and we’re picking which shows, movies, and stars we think are worthy of winning a Netflix Life Award, otherwise known as the Besties.
